Frequently asked questions
How is sport psychology different from mental training?
Sport psychology is an academic discipline built on university degrees in psychology. It differs fundamentally from "mental training", which is not a protected title: it relies on scientifically tested methods to support professional athletes, teams and executives in a lasting, individual and in-depth way.
Can sessions take place remotely (Zoom / phone)?
Yes, working together remotely via Zoom and phone is possible worldwide. This allows continuous support for athletes and coaches in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and internationally – including after a transfer or while travelling for away games.
Are sessions available in English?
Yes, Renate Eichenberger works fluently in German and English. This is a particular advantage in international professional sport (such as the basketball BBL or the football Bundesliga) and in multinational leadership teams.
Which sports and industries do you work with?
Alongside long-term mandates in professional sport (basketball, football, handball), Renate Eichenberger works with individual athletes, coaches, officials and referees from every sport (tennis, skiing, Swiss wrestling, golf and more). Further focus areas are executive coaching for leaders and specialist advice on giftedness.
